  • Starting Pay: Day Shift $19.61 /hour; Overnight $21.61
  • Part-Time - Flexible Shifts Available (Day and Overnight)

Job Summary
The Store Set-Up Associate supports the preparation and execution of new store openings, remodels, relocations, and other store projects. Working under the direction of the Store Manager, this position assists with fixtures, merchandise placement, inventory organization, signage, cleaning, and other activities required to prepare a store for opening.
This role requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to perform physical work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Duties
  • Assist with setting up of new stores, remodels, relocations, and other special projects according to established timelines and company standards.
  • Sort, and organize store fixtures, equipment, supplies, and merchandise.
  • Assemble and install shelving, displays, fixtures, signage, and other store equipment
  • Stock, organize, label, price, and merchandise products according to planograms, merchandising guidelines, and store-opening plans.
  • Assist with counting fixtures, equipment, supplies, and merchandise received at the store location.
  • Support the preparation and placement of promotional materials, pricing signage, and opening-day displays.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the store setup process.
  • Break down boxes, remove trash, and assist with coordinating materials for disposal or recycling.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, equipment instructions, and lifting requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with Store Operations, Construction, Merchandising, Information Technology, warehouse teams, vendors, contractors, and other project partners.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in retail, merchandising, stocking, warehouse operations, construction setup, or new store openings is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, planograms, diagrams, and store setup plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing work accurately.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate professionally
  • Basic experience using hand tools is preferred.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (8 hours per day)
  • Ability to frequently bend, reach, climb, kneel, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move merchandise, fixtures, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely use ladders, step stools, pallet jacks, carts, and basic hand tools when properly trained.
  • Ability to work in store environments may include dust, noise, and temperature changes.

Job Scope
  • This position does not have direct supervisory or management authority.
  • Work is performed under the direction of the Store Manager.
  • The associate is responsible for completing assigned tasks safely, accurately, and within established project timelines.
