Job description

Summary: The Workforce Group, a LEMOINE company, is seeking qualified field professionals to support a federal human services program serving vulnerable populations, including young adults, and families. This role is highly field-based and involves conducting in-person visits, verifying residence information, supporting participant engagement, and documenting observations in accordance with program requirements. This field-based role requires frequent travel, objective documentation, strong situational awareness and the ability to operate independently in residential and community-based environments.


Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico and surrounding areas

Travel: Frequent travel required (75%โ€“90%), including same-day, regional, and overnight travel. Candidates must reside within reasonable proximity to a major airport.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assigned in-person field visits within an assigned geographic region.
  • Verify whether participants reside at assigned residential locations and accurately document findings.
  • Observe and document general safety and wellness indicators using established program procedures.
  • Identify and record relevant household and contact information in accordance with program protocols.
  • Utilize approved tools, mobile technology, and secure systems to complete timely and accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, dispatch teams, language access services, quality review teams, and program operations staff.
  • Conduct follow-up visits or address verification activities as required.
  • Complete visit documentation, reports, and data entry in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identify and escalate safety concerns or reportable risks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times.
  • Protect sensitive participant, program, and government information.
  • Follow all field safety, travel, communication, and situational awareness protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records, including calendars, travel logs, mileage, communication logs, and case notes.
  • Participate in required training sessions, operational briefings, and team meetings.
  • Must be able to travel domestically on short notice and on a frequent basis via air and/or ground transportation, including overnight travel when required.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods on various surfaces.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum one (1) year of experience in field operations in related area such as human services, community outreach, case management, investigations, residential/community visits, or similar work. Associate or bachelorโ€™s degree in social work, human services, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, public administration, emergency management, or a related field is strongly preferred. Experience conducting residential visits, field-based assessments, or community outreach activities is strongly preferred.

  • Ability to travel frequently on short notice, including evenings, weekends, and overnight assignments
  • Valid driverโ€™s license, reliable transportation, and ability to meet company travel and motor vehicle requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in fast-paced field environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare accurate, objective, and timely documentation and reports.
  • Proficiency using smartphones, tablets, GPS/routing tools, Microsoft Office, and electronic documentation systems
  • Strong problem-solving, and situational awareness skills.
  • Ability to carry required equipment and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to complete required federal, client, and company training prior to assignment
  • Ability to pass and maintain a government security background investigation, including a favorable credit check.
  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check after accepting a conditional offer.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Training or experience in trauma-informed care, de-escalation, crisis response, mandated reporting, safety planning, or similar practices is strongly preferred.

Work Environment

This position primarily operates in field with frequent travel to assigned residential and community-settings across urban, suburban, and rural areas. Work may involve exposure to unpredictable environments and situations requiring heightened situational awareness, professional judgment, and adherence to field safety procedures. Work schedule may vary based on operational needs and authorized field visit windows. Evening, weekends, holidays, extended-hour, short-notice, and overnight travel assignments may be required.


Federal Contract Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment screening requirements, including background checks, drug screening, motor vehicle records review, reference checks and other job-related screening requirements. Employment is also contingent upon successful completion of required federal background/suitability review, favorable credit check, security processing, and program-specific onboarding before beginning work.

Employees assigned to this program must complete required training, protect sensitive information, comply with standards of conduct, maintain professional boundaries, and follow all reporting, confidentiality, privacy, and information security requirements.
