• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess their mental health needs and determine appropriate therapeutic paths.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's situation.
• Provide compassionate counseling and therapy services to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and other relevant approaches.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all counseling sessions, including client progress notes, assessments, and treatment updates in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Uphold strict confidentiality of client information, adhering to ethical guidelines and professional standards.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. This role emphasizes understanding unique client needs and employing culturally responsive approaches to support mental health improvement effectively. Additionally, hands-on experience with family systems or parenting issues would be beneficial.

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field, ensuring a robust foundation in therapeutic principles.
• Active state licensure as a Professional Counselor in Texas, validating your credentials and ability to practice therapeutically.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience providing counseling services, demonstrating practical knowledge and proficiency in mental health care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients efficiently.
• Proficiency in utilizing digital tools for remote counseling, ensuring smooth interactions and documentation.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in family therapy, trauma-informed care, or specialized therapy techniques like Play Therapy may greatly enhance our service offerings. Familiarity with community resources and referral networks in Corpus Christi enhances the support provided to clients.
