Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Operating Room RN for a night shift assignment at a children's hospital, requiring 2+ years of pediatric OR experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details
  • Work in the Pediatric General Operating Room at a children's hospital
  • Facility has 8 total ORs, with only 2 operational overnight
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:30-07:00

  • Provide direct perioperative nursing care within the pediatric OR setting
  • Radiation badge will be provided by the parent company
  • Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius to be prioritized for this role; local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
  • Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation from the health system before returning as a traveler
  • May be called off up to 10 hours per 2-week period
  • Traveler may be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season (June through November, with peak activity in August and September)
  • All requested time off must be submitted and approved at the time of application, with approval based on facility needs
