Vaxxinova US is extending its commercial organization and is seeking an experienced individual to join the team as a Key Account Manager- Cattle (West Region – CA and AZ). Aboutthe role:

The Key Account Manager- Cattle is responsible for Front Line Business and Account management with Key Cattle Accounts. The role will apply a Key Account Management approach to cultivate networks and relationships with Veterinarians, Key Producers, and Distribution to leverage Vaxxinova’s resources to drive sales growth. The role will represent Vaxxinova at key industry events, meetings and with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL’s). This position requires about 70% travel.

Main responsibilities:
  • Leverageresources,buildrelationships&networkstoidentifyopportunitiesfor customers, deliver and drive sales results.
  • IdentifyemergingneedsandtrendsforKeyAccounts,Vaxxinovaandtheindustry, communicating these needs to the broader Vaxxinova team.
  • Develop&executeaccountplans(looking12-18monthsout),includingsalesforecasting, and supporting customers thru field visits.
  • Lead account teams that create and capture the most value for Vaxxinova and for customers.Workacrosscompanyfunctionstobringmaximumvalue&agoodcustomer experience for Key Accounts.
  • RepresentVaxxinovaatkeyindustry&customermeetingsandworktoinfluenceKOL’sto
  • Demonstrate Vaxxinova’s emerging leadership in the vaccine space.

Qualifications and Capabilities:

  • This position will focus on dairy and calf ranch experience.
  • Deep understanding of the dairy industry, the key players, and technical needs
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to effectively present information to various audiences
  • Written and verbal English communication skills to effectively work with and interact with a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to exhibit sound business judgement, be decisive, flexible, and have determination
  • Ability to travel at minimum 70% of the time

Experience/Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Animal Science
  • Five (5) years of experience in Animal Health Sales- Cattle/Dairy is an advantage
  • Must hold a valid U.S driver’s license and authorized to work in the US.
