Job description

A 170-provider multispecialty group in southeast Massachusetts has an opening for a fellowship-trained Pulmonary/Critical Care specialist to join its established Pulmonary Division with 6 Pulmonary/Critical Care Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.

About the opportunity:

  • Inpatient done at a 180-bed Hospital with a 12-bed Med-Surg ICU with an overnight eICU
  • The hospital is a Brown University facility
  • Cover a thriving outpatient practice - Physician-owned
  • Strong referral base from 40 Primary Care physicians
  • Various medical specialties and services, including a Sleep Lab, Diagnostic Imaging (CT, MRI), Physical Therapy, and Laboratory
  • Pulmonologists perform PFTs and bronchoscopy and are trained in EBUS and navigational bronchoscopy. Current specialized projects include COPD/Dyspnea Clinics, a lung cancer screening program, and a lung nodule program
  • Providers have a range of interests, including pulmonary hypertension, and a thoracic surgeon is available on-site in the office.
  • Offering a healthy base salary commensurate with training and experience
  • Physicians are eligible for corporate bonuses after 1 year and for partnership after 3 years, with minimal buy-in
