Bilingual Data Center Night Shift Lead
We are seeking a bilingual Data Center Night Shift Lead to oversee overnight operations with a strong focus on supervising cabling technicians. This role ensures consistent workflow, quality control, and adherence to operational standards during night hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, guide, and support night-shift cabling technicians
- Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure project deadlines are met
- Oversee installation, routing, labeling, and testing of network and fiber cabling
- Maintain data center cleanliness, organization, and rack readiness
- Conduct quality checks on all cabling and documentation completed overnight
- Assist with troubleshooting connectivity issues and escalating when needed
- Provide shift reports, handoff summaries, and status updates to daytime management
- Uphold safety and compliance standards throughout the data center
- Serve as the point of contact for night-shift needs, incidents, and workflow decisions
Required Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience leading teams or acting as a shift lead in a data center or similar environment
- Strong hands-on background in copper and fiber cabling
- Ability to read cable maps, work orders, and basic network diagrams
