Pediatric OR 4x10s DAYS Start Dates: 8/31 STARTS ONLY One year acute care experience with 6 months Peds OR experience required and will accept candidates with either inpatient or ambulatory experience. A minimum of 3 Weekday Nights & 2 Weekends per 6-week schedule. Weekend: A minimum of 1-2 weekend day shifts in 6-week schedule period. Average daily census: 25 per day. Every other weekend requirement. Charting: Surginet. Patient population: ENT, Urology, Neuro, General, Ortho, Trauma inpatient and outpatient cases. CLN Nurse 1 - duties include functioning as a break nurse approx 20% of the time in 8 hour shift capacity.

Required Certs & Skills: ACLS, BLS, PALS. Skills: Ambulatory OR, Appendectomy, Arthroscopy of knee, shoulder, wrist, Cholecystectomy, Circumcision, Closed reduction of fractures, Club foot, Colon resection, Colostomy/Ileostomy creation/closure/reversal, Craniotomy, Cystoscopy/Cystogram/Pyelogram, Epigastric hernia repair, Excision of Hemangiomas, Exploratory laparotomy, Frenulectomy, Hydrocele, Inguinal hernia repair, Myringotomy with tubes, Open reduction of fractures, Pedi General OR, Repair of Hypospadias, Spinal bifida repair, Spinal fusion/spinal with instrumentation, Tonsillectomy/adenoids, Tracheostomy, Trauma, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure, VP/VA shunts.

Facility & Patient Care Details: Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Pediatrics. Daily Census: 25 per day. Number of Visits Per Day: 25. Number of Rooms: 7. Additional Unit Information: Interdisciplinary Support: - Patient Diagnoses: ENT, Urology, Neuro, General, Ortho, Trauma inpatient and outpatient cases. Special Procedures/Unit Details: I year acute care experience with 6 months Peds OR experience required and will accept candidates with either inpatient or ambulatory experience. CLN Nurse 1 - duties include functioning as a break nurse approx 20% of the time in 8 hour shift capacity. 6 months Pedi OR experience 1 year acute care experience required - 1-2 weekend days per 6-week schedule. Special Equipment: ON-CALL REQUIREMENT 2 weekends as well as 2-3 weekday overnight on call shifts per 6 week schedule.
