Job Type: Full Time

Salary: 19.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40 hours per week

Open availability required due to seniority based shift bids that occur multiple times per year

Job Description: The Airline Cart Assembler plays an important role in preparing airline service carts for departing flights. This position is responsible for organizing shelf stable food items and onboard service materials according to detailed diagrams and flight specifications. Accuracy attention to detail and the ability to follow written and visual instructions are essential in this fast paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare airline carts with required amenities including silverware cups containers napkins and shelf stable food items according to specifications

Follow diagrams and planograms to ensure accurate cart setup and organization

Maintain accuracy and consistency while meeting daily production timelines

Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in all work areas

Clean and sanitize equipment carts and workstations

Wear required personal protective equipment

Work assigned schedules including overtime when required

Follow instructions and production diagrams accurately

Support team members to ensure operational success

Qualifications and Experience:

Must be fluent in English with strong reading comprehension

Ability to view diagrams and follow written and visual instructions

Ability to perform simple calculations

Ability to use mobile shelving carts and airline catering equipment

Ability to stand bend reach and move throughout the shift

Ability to work in a fast paced team oriented production environment

Must be able to pass a pre hire drug test and criminal history background check

Shift Availability: Open availability is essential due to seniority based shift bids that occur two to three times per year. Shifts may include early morning evening overnight weekend and holiday schedules. The facility operates 24 hours per day and 7 days per week.
