Job description

Job Description Part of the IT Asset Management (ITAM) team and will assist the IT Asset Manager in formulating the long term strategic management of Globe's IT assets. The position will be responsible for tracking, processing and documenting procedures, reclamation, and disposal of all IT hardware throughout the enterprise.

  • Accurate and up-to-date operational documentation.

  • Improved operational visibility through monitoring and reporting.

  • Timely support of maintenance agreement and asset lifecycle activities.

Key Accountabilities

Application Operations
  • Support the day-to-day operations of assigned applications and digital services.

  • Monitor application health and service performance using approved monitoring tools.

  • Perform initial technical investigation and troubleshooting of application issues.

  • Coordinate with development teams, vendors, and infrastructure teams to restore services.

Incident and Problem Management
  • Participate in major incident resolution activities.

  • Perform root cause analysis support and problem investigations.

  • Track recurring issues and recommend operational improvements.

  • Ensure incidents and service requests are managed within agreed service levels.

Change and Release Support
  • Participate in deployment, release, and change implementation activities.

  • Validate operational readiness before production implementation.

  • Support post-implementation verification and stabilization activities.

  • Maintain deployment and operational documentation.

Service Reliability and Monitoring
  • Review alerts, logs, and monitoring dashboards.

  • Support service availability and performance improvement initiatives.

  • Assist in capacity and utilization reviews.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.

Vendor and Asset Management
  • Coordinate with service providers and vendors supporting assigned applications.

  • Maintain application inventory and operational documentation.

  • Support maintenance agreement tracking and renewal activities.

  • Ensure operational risks and support requirements are properly documented.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline..

  • Basic understanding of application architectures and cloud technologies.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred
  • Fresh grad up to 1-3 years of experience in IT Operations, Application Support, Cloud Operations, or related areas

  • Must be fluent in Mandarin.

  • Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Private Cloud environments.

  • Exposure to Kubernetes and container platforms.

  • Familiarity with GitHub or GitLab repositories.

  • Exposure to CI/CD deployment processes.

  • Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

  • Experience using AI-assisted productivity tools.
