Amazon Leo is Amazon's initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to deliver fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. Learn more about Project Kuiper at https://leo.amazon.com. We are looking for a Full Life Cycle Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team and help build the teams that will put thousands of satellites in orbit.
As a Full Life Cycle Recruiter, supporting Leo Hardware Engineering roles, you'll own the complete recruitment journey, from discovering and engaging candidates to closing offers and welcoming new team members - while creating meaningful experiences that reflect Amazon's commitment to inclusion and excellence. You will work closely with hiring managers, sourcers, and recruiting coordinators to fill critical technical and non-technical roles across Leo's engineering and operations organizations.
Key job responsibilities
Own the full recruiting lifecycle for assigned requisitions: intake, sourcing strategy, candidate engagement, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and close.
Source and engage candidates using internal and external tools, search techniques, and multiple channels, including employee referrals, career portals, events, and direct outreach, to build high-quality, diverse candidate pipelines.
Conduct pre-screening conversations to assess candidate skill alignment, compensation expectations, and availability while setting accurate expectations about roles and the interview process.
Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, calibrate candidate profiles, develop effective recruiting strategies, and provide guidance on Amazon's value proposition.
Drive positive candidate experiences throughout the recruitment lifecycle by maintaining clear communication, coaching candidates on behavioral interviewing, and ensuring timely feedback loops
Manage a pipeline of 15-25+ active requisitions across multiple job families and levels
Track and maintain data integrity across all recruiting systems; report weekly on pipeline health and funnel metrics
Identify process improvements, remove blockers, and escalate appropriately to support team efficiency and operational excellence
Participate in recruiting events, career fairs, and employee referral initiatives to build brand awareness in the talent market
Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to streamline recruiting operations, from candidate sourcing and screening to data analysis and reporting, driving efficiency and scale across your portfolio
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of corporate and or search firm progressive recruiting including full life cycle recruiting experience
- Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research
- Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of corporate and or search firm progressive technical recruiting including full life cycle recruiting experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing operations environment
- Knowledge of employment laws
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership
- Experience using strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, or experience in guiding, training and mentoring others
- Experience using data and analytics to drive sales strategy and results
- Experience recruiting in aerospace, hardware engineering, RF/antenna, or adjacent deep-tech fields
