We welcome both experienced caregivers and those who are new to the field. No certification is required in Vermont, and we provide the training and support needed to help you succeed.

Qualifications
  • No certifications or licenses required (certifications are a plus)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
  • Smartphone required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dependable, compassionate, and attentive
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients
  • Ability to remain awake and alert throughout the entire overnight shift
Your Role

As an Awake Overnight Caregiver, you will provide supervision, assistance, and support to ensure the client's safety and well-being throughout the night. Responsibilities may include:

  • Remaining awake and attentive for the entire shift
  • Monitoring client safety and responding to needs as they arise
  • Assisting with overnight personal care, including toileting and transfers if needed
  • Providing companionship and reassurance
  • Light housekeeping and maintaining a safe environment
  • Meal or snack preparation as needed
  • Documenting care provided during the shift
  • Communicating important updates to the care team
