Job description

This family is seeking a dependable, nurturing overnight nanny to provide care for their two children-an active 2-year-old and an easygoing 8-month-old-for 3-5 overnight shifts per month, with five nights per month needed for approximately half the year. The family will always provide advance notice of the schedule. Evening responsibilities begin around 5:00 PM and include helping prepare or serve dinner, assisting with bath and bedtime routines, reading books, encouraging positive routines, tidying up after the children, unloading the dishwasher, children's laundry, and other light child-related household tasks. Overnight, the nanny will monitor the children while they sleep and respond if needed.
The ideal candidate is nurturing, engaging, and confident in setting loving boundaries. Their outgoing toddler thrives with someone who is active, creative, and consistent, while their infant benefits from a gentle caregiver who enjoys cuddles and maintaining a calm bedtime routine. The family values a nanny who respects their parenting style, reinforces household expectations, and creates a safe, structured environment where both children feel loved and supported. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone seeking a flexible, recurring overnight position with a kind family.
