Experience in Hematology/Oncology/Blood and Marrow Transplant is essential.
Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Chemotherapy.
The position requires the ability to rotate between day and night shifts.
Weekend shifts are required approximately every other weekend.
The nurse will be responsible for administering chemotherapy.
Strong experience in inpatient oncology, telemetry, and IV starts is necessary.
Candidates must have two years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment or one month of per diem experience.
Floating to units of equivalent or lower acuity may be required based on unit needs.
The nurse's initial schedule will be created based on unit needs, with future scheduling preferences considered.
All employees must receive the flu vaccine; no exemptions are allowed.
Candidates should have the ability to manage and interpret dysrhythmias.
Only candidates meeting the specified experience and certification requirements will be considered.
The daily census in the unit will involve adult and geriatric patients facing hematological diseases.
Interdisciplinary support will be available from various departments.
This is a short-term acute care facility providing comprehensive patient care in a teaching environment.
