Outside Processing Coordinators are professionals responsible for managing and overseeing the outsourcing of manufacturing processes or services to external vendors. They coordinate communication between internal departments and outside suppliers, ensure that quality and delivery standards are met, and handle logistics such as shipping and receiving outsourced materials. Their role is crucial in industries where certain manufacturing steps are contracted out to specialized facilities. By streamlining the outsourcing process, they help companies maintain production schedules, control costs, and ensure quality standards are upheld.

Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management software, and logistics tracking tools is typically required. Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and time management are crucial soft skills for effectively coordinating with vendors and internal teams. These competencies ensure efficient material flow, timely delivery, and successful collaboration with external processors, which are vital for maintaining production schedules and quality standards.
