Job Description

OSP Wireline Construction Trainer

We are seeking an OSP Wireline Construction Trainer for a full-time, direct-hire role supporting operations in Dallas, Texas. This position is responsible for developing and delivering both classroom and field-based training for Outside Plant (OSP) wireline fiber construction crews. The role emphasizes safe, efficient underground fiber installation and the proper operation of heavy equipment used in OSP construction.

This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on OSP professional who is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and elevating field performance. The primary value of this role is impact—you will directly influence safety, quality, and productivity by ensuring construction personnel are properly trained, compliant, and capable of delivering high-quality work.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Authorization to work in the United States

  • Train underground communications cable installation, including pedestals and hand holes
  • Train flagging procedures and traffic control practices
  • Train proper property protection and worksite restoration
  • Conduct worksite walk-throughs and address field performance or safety issues
  • Support managers with employee development and training plans
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation


Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time, direct-hire position
  • Salary range: $70,000 – $90,000
  • Bonus eligibility: 15%
