Job description

Tom Wood Aviation, in Indianapolis, IN is searching forย aย Line Service Technicianย toย becomeย a valued member of our team at the Indianapolis Metropolitan Airport. As part of the Line Crew, your primary responsibility will beย deliveringย exceptional customer service to our esteemed guests.ย ย 

Responsibilities:ย ย 

  • Marshalling arriving andย departingย aircraft, parking them safely, andย towingย as necessary.ย ย ย 

  • Performingย aircraftย fueling, ensuringย accurateย fuel levels and quality control.ย ย 

  • Towing ofย aircraftย andย maintainingย equipment (trucks, tugs, golf cart, mower, etc.)ย ย 

  • Greeting pilots, passengers, and crew members;ย assistingย with baggage handling; and providing ground transportation as needed.ย ย 

  • Conducting inspections and maintenance of ground support equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.ย ย ย 

  • Refueling of fuel trucksย ย 

  • Adhering to safety procedures and regulations toย maintainย a secure environment for all personnel andย aircraft.ย 

  • Maintenance of building (mowing lawn, snow removal, cleaning building, stocking of supplies)ย 

  • Consistently deliver exceptional customer service experience to all Aviation guestsย ย 

Qualifications:ย ย 

  • High School or Equivalentย ย 

  • Aviation experience preferredย 

  • Familiarity with airport procedures and safety regulations can be an asset.ย ย 

  • Mustย have availabilityย to work nights and weekendsย ย 

  • Required-Valid Driverโ€™s License with clean driving recordย ย
