Catholic Charities of Baltimore, Human Resources is seeking an Associate Talent Acquisition Partner to support Catholic Charities' mission by attracting and hiring qualified, mission-aligned talent. This position combines full cycle recruitment and Talent Acquisition administrative support, with emphasis on accountability, timeliness, and service excellence.
This position owns the full-cycle hiring process, from requisition through onboarding, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and mission-driven experience for candidates and hiring managers. Administratively, this position maintains the operational integrity of the Talent Acquisition process through accurate data management, compliance, and proactive follow-through. This role partners closely with Talent Acquisition Partners (TAPs), Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, and the Pre-Onboarding Team to drive accountability, ensure consistency, and measurable hiring outcomes.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with hybrid schedule (3 days in office and 2 days remote).
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drives full-cycle recruiting for assigned programs, ensuring timely and high-quality hiring outcomes that align with established service-level expectations.
  • Proactively sources, screens, and engages qualified candidates through social media, job boards, networking, and community partnerships, maintaining accountability for outreach and pipeline activity.
  • Collaborates with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to define hiring needs, develop interview plans, and deliver clear communication throughout the selection process.
  • Maintains consistent follow-up with candidates and hiring teams to keep processes moving and ensure no delays in decision-making.
  • Prepares, extends, and documents job offers as directed by Talent Acquisition Partners, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery within 24 hours of approval.
  • Represents Catholic Charities professionally at job fairs and community events, tracking outcomes and providing post-event feedback to inform strategy.
  • Contributes to employer branding and engagement initiatives that promote accountability to the organization's mission and values.
  • Sends personalized welcome cards to new hires as part of the onboarding experience, reinforcing a culture of care and attention to detail.
  • Manages the intake and tracking of requisition requests, ensuring all submissions are complete and posted within 2-3 business days; escalate delays proactively.
  • Maintains accuracy and consistency in all job postings, ensuring alignment with classification, compensation, and branding standards.
  • Verifies and maintains integrity of data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and related HR systems, taking ownership of data accuracy and process compliance.
  • Executes candidate hires in UKG following established protocols, ensuring timely handoff to onboarding and a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Monitors and manages the Talent Acquisition email inbox daily, prioritizing responses and delegation to sustain workflow efficiency and accountability to internal service standards.
  • Partners with colleges, universities, and community organizations to coordinate recruitment participation, maintaining documentation of outreach efforts and outcomes.
  • Identifies and recommends process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and accountability within the Talent Acquisition function.
  • Supports the Director, Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Partners with ad-hoc reporting, analytics, and administrative projects to ensure goals are met and progress is tracked.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's degree in human resources, business, or related field.

  • Three (3) years of experience in human resources, recruiting, or talent acquisition.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) systems (e.g., UKG, Taleo, ICIMS, etc.).

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills including active listening, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in all interactions.
  • Displays excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Demonstrates accountability by working independently, requiring minimal direction or supervision.
  • Demonstrates discretion and professionalism in all situations, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
  • Effectively prioritizes tasks, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment to facilitate optimal workflow and productivity.

  • Requires proficiency in using computer systems and software to perform job function, including but not limited to, basic Windows PC, web browsing (i.e., Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.), and Microsoft Outlook. Knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel PowerPoint, Teams, and OneDrive is preferred.

This includes both verbal and non-verbal interactions with colleagues, clients, or external parties.
