Job description

We are looking for multiple providers to work M-F, with the possibility of picking up a weekend occasionally.
Medically directed practice with collegial Anesthesiologists

  • 1-2 longer cases or 3-4 shorter cases per 8-hour day on average
  • Busy surgical schedule that includes all but transplants and pediatric hearts
  • One to one patient care providing anesthesia in operating rooms, Cath lab, GI, EP, MRI, and CT as needed. Caring for all patient age groups at a Level 1 trauma center
  • 7 days a week practice. 8, 10, 12 hour shifts (Mon-Fri), 12 or 16 hour shifts (Sat & Sun) with a 30-min unpaid lunch

The CRNA in this position could work at the following locations:
o St. Maryโ€™s Medical Center, 344-bed tertiary hospital โ€“ Level I Trauma Center, high acuity โ€“ new facility opened July 2023
o Surgery Center-Miller Hill โ€“ 4 ORโ€™s
o St. Maryโ€™s Hospital Superior, WI; 2 ORโ€™s and 2 Endo Suites (approximately 90% outpatient surgery)
o - 165-beds, 11 ORs (approximately 80% outpatient cases
o Outpatient Endoscopy Center

EDUCATION & LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Must be a graduate (Masterโ€™s or Doctorate) of an accredited school of anesthesia.
  • Current (or ability to obtain) licensure as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Minnesota.
  • Current certification in CPR, BCLS/ACLS
  • Certified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists; and has graduated from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia and is awaiting initial certification.
