ABOUT OUTLETS AT CASTLE ROCK

We are the largest open-air outlet center in the state of Colorado. Located in Castle Rock, we are conveniently placed between the Denver metro area and the Colorado Springs region. Voted Colorado's Best Outlet Shopping several times since 2015, we are committed to providing an enjoyable shopping and dining experience to all who come by!

The Outlets at Castle Rock is currently hiring Custodians who will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the common areas and parking lot of the Center. We take great pride in hiring for this role as Custodians are often the first Outlets at Castle Rock employees who have the privilege of interacting with our shoppers. Qualified candidates will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, a professional/tidy appearance, and an eye for making things sparkle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains all common areas of the center - including the parking lots, walkways, landscaping, and service areas to the standards set by the company for cleanliness and appearance by removing gum, stains, cigarette butts, paper, food, and other debris from all ground areas and surfaces.
  • Ensures cart is fully stocked at the beginning of each shift.
  • Empties all exterior trash cans at the beginning of each shift and as needed throughout the day.
  • Utilizes riding auto-scrubber to clean clay paver areas.
  • Utilizes power washer to clean mats and concrete sidewalks.
  • Utilizes commercial outdoor vacuum to clean sidewalks, curbs and edges.
  • Cleans vacant storefront windows and frames, center signage, and other exterior surfaces.
  • Snow removal duties such as shoveling, snow plowing, and application of ice melt as directed. Remove excess ice melt with backpack blower.
  • Manually water exterior landscaping, only as needed if irrigation break occurs.
  • Supports the maintenance staff as directed by the Operations Director and General Manager.
  • Performs all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards.
  • Assists customers as appropriate by always maintaining a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude.
  • Maintains working knowledge of all safety procedures established for the Center.
  • Assists customers with questions or requests.
  • Performs special projects or other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (G.E.D.)
  • No experience is necessary.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

  • Ability to comprehend instruction.
  • Requires a high level of commitment to customer service.
  • Requires attention to detail.
