Evening/Night Yard Manager - Seasonal 2026

Job description

Do you love working outdoors and getting to do something different every day? Anderson Farms is currently hiring for a fall evening yard manager. Daytime hours may be available beginning mid August.

Schedule:

September 8th - September 18th: The farm is not open to the public, available hours are typically Monday - Friday 8-5 with some possible weekend hours for training and special events.


Required Hours: September 23 - October 31 (Thursday - Sunday): The Night Yard Manager arrives between 4 & 5 PM Thursday and Friday and 3 PM Saturday and Sunday and is the last one to leave after closing. This is typically around 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM on Thursday and Sunday and possibly after 12:00 AM on Friday and Saturday.


Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Closing duties for Fall Festival including closing gates, turning off light towers, making sure bathrooms are clean and ensuring all guests have left for the night.
  • Managing Yard Staff including position assignments, shift changes, and scheduling lunches and breaks. Yard staff includes, gate greeters, ride operators, fire pit crew, trash collectors, and other outdoor staff members.
  • Assist with upkeep and repairs on attractions and structures.
  • Assist with seasonal staff training and orientation sessions.
  • Assist with customer service including unruly customers.
  • Assist with first aid when necessary.
