Wonderly Lights of Virginia Beach is seeking a dynamic and customer-centric Sales & Operations Manager to lead our fast-growing, premium outdoor lighting business, specializing in landscape, architectural, permanent, and holiday lighting. The individual who excels in this role will be able to develop and maintain customer relationships, drive sales performance through both in-person and call-based design and sales execution, and direct all aspects of field operations.
 
Responsibilities
  • Meet with customers at their homes and businesses to assess properties and design outdoor lighting projects
  • Prepare and present proposals for landscape, architectural, permanent, and holiday lighting systems
  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries and follow up on sales opportunities
  • Maintain customer relationships through phone, email, and text communication
  • Schedule installations, service appointments, and technician routes
  • Manage customer work orders, invoicing, and billing
  • Order and track inventory and project materials
  • Coordinate and support field technicians to ensure projects are completed successfully
  • Assist with hiring, training, and developing team members
  • Monitor business performance and operational metrics
  • Participate in local networking, marketing, and community events as needed
Qualifications
  • Experience in operations management, preferably in a home service business
  • Sales and customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using CRM, scheduling, or business management software
  • Comfortable working with business metrics and financial reports
  • Positive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license
Schedule
  • Full-time
  • Monday–Friday, generally 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Some evening sales appointments and service requests as needed
  • Occasional weekend work during peak seasons
