The Huron Managed Services Technology Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, delivery, and adoption of technology solutions that support revenue cycle operations and performance improvement initiatives. This role partners closely with Continuous Improvement leaders, operational stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure technology capabilities-such as reporting, analytics, AI, automation, and platforms-are effectively designed, deployed, and leveraged to drive measurable operational and financial outcomes.
The manager oversees the rollout and ongoing stewardship of technology initiatives within Huron Managed Services, including reporting and analytics solutions, AI and automation and platform enhancements. This role ensures technical accuracy, coordinates cross functional execution, tracks performance and ROI, when available, and manages documentation, training, and playbooks to promote consistency and scalability. The HMS Technology Manager serves as a key liaison between operations and technology teams, providing visibility into progress, surfacing risks and opportunities, and supporting leaders with actionable insights to enable sustained performance improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
HMS Technology Stack Management
Manage rollout, deployment, and stabilization of new technology features, enhancements, and initiatives across the HMS technology stack
Monitor progress of automation, reporting, and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment to business objectives
Prepare and deliver regular updates on the impact of technology initiatives, including impact, measurement of ROI, risks, and optimization opportunities
Coordinate feedback, training, and communication to support successful adoption of technology solutions.
Manage and maintain documentation, playbooks, and guides to support consistent deployment and adoption of tools as well as ongoing optimization of technology solutions
Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Coordination with Continuous Improvement and key Operations leaders to:
  • Identify opportunities to enhance technology-enabled processes and recommend improvements aligned with operational goals.
  • Maintain awareness of ongoing initiatives, roadmap decisions, and platform changes to proactively address risks and concerns.
  • Encourage effective adoption and sustained use of technology tools across teams.
  • Prioritize initiatives, resolve issues, and support change management effort
  • Translate broad business requirements into specific technical roadmaps for solution development

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current permanent U.S. work authorization required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Limited travel required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle, healthcare revenue cycle IT, consulting.
  • Possess a strong operational understanding of revenue cycle processes.
  • Experience managing both onshore and offshore staff (preferred).
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills required to synthesize complex data sets and interpret qualitative and quantitative data and trends to implement recommendations resulting in measurable performance improvement and successful organizational change.
  • Effective organization and planning skills with the proven ability to manage complex multi-workstream performance improvement projects
  • Impactful and professional written and verbal communication to set clear direction, develop key deliverables, escalate risks, and influence key stakeholders inclusive of a variety of leaders and roles within HMS, product teams and internal senior leadership.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to understand business challenges, adapt implementation methodologies, and approaches to ensure results align with the HMS' business objectives.
  • Effective and efficient organization and planning skills with s proven ability to manage complex multi-workstream projects and navigate a matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional time management skills to manage multiple priorities at once with fast-paced turnaround times
  • Experience with using SQL and Python within to develop data analyses across complex data sources
  • Experience in data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, AWS Quick)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks) for data and analytics delivery
  • Ability to guide technical teams (data engineering, data scientists) in model development.
  • Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-wide change management and performance transformation programs

The estimated salary range for this job is $115,000 - $151,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting.The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy and Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
