Job description

Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Overnight Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping/receiving, and transportation activities in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring product quality, and leading warehouse teams to success. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse logistics and inventory management within a manufacturing or food production setting.


Overnight Shift: 11 PM- 7:30 AM

  • Manage inbound and outbound warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and transportation logistics 
  • Develop and implement warehouse procedures, SOPs, and GMPs 
  • Maintain accurate inventory controls and establish minimum/maximum stock levels 
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and proper lot tracking/traceability 
  • Coordinate loading dock schedules and supplier appointments 
  • Monitor product quality and ensure proper handling and storage procedures 
  • Collaborate with production teams to forecast inventory needs 
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff while promoting a strong team environment 
  • Identify operational improvements and cost-saving opportunities 
  • Resolve issues involving damaged, defective, or incorrect shipments 
  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety and food manufacturing standards

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse management experience required 
  • Experience in food manufacturing or production environments preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse logistics 
  • Experience developing SOPs and GMP documentation 
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Office 
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally 
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
