Position Description: Position Summary
The Customer Sales Associate is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and enhancing the customer in-store experience; The Customer Sales Associate also answers the telephone and helps maintain and organize customer files, store records and promotional materials; ensures showroom appearance meets company standards; participates in outbound telemarketing to existing and potential customers.
Principal Responsibilities
Acquire and Maintain Customers
Clerical functions, including but not limited to office management and file maintenance
Create price tags
Customer payments and data entry in VersiRent computer program
Greets customers and facilitates in-store sales
Inbound/Outbound sales calls
Maintain professional appearance
Maintains showroom appearance
Resolves customer service concerns as they arise
Responsible for answering phones
All other duties deemed necessary for effective store managementEssential Requirements
Answer telephone to company standards; must be able to communicate company products and programs to potential customers over telephone and in-person.
Build and maintain files to company standards and policy
Intermediate math skills
Excellent phone skills
Must be able to explain product features and benefits
Must be able to explain terms of rental/lease agreement to customer.
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in person and over telephone
Must be organized
Must be able to work overtime
General Physical Requirements
Routine lifting, loading and moving of merchandise up to 50 lbs. without assistance
