We're looking for motivated, customer-focused Program Specialists (Insurance Specialists) to join a growing healthcare support team. In this role, you'll be the bridge between patients, providers, and insurance carriers, helping ensure individuals receive access to the therapies and benefits they need.

Pay: $19.00/hour
Start Date: October 5, 2026

Job Type: Contract/Full-time
Schedule: Flexible shifts available between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST (must be available to work any 8-hour shift within operating hours)

Description:

  • Handling inbound and outbound insurance verification calls
  • Verifying benefits, coverage eligibility, deductibles, and out-of-pocket costs
  • Assisting patients with enrollment and program qualification processes
  • Helping patients navigate online portals and healthcare resources
  • Investigating and resolving barriers that may prevent access to prescribed therapies
  • Documenting interactions accurately within tracking systems
  • Following up with patients and healthcare providers regarding applications and coverage status
  • Educating patients on available insurance and financial assistance options
  • Maintaining compliance with patient privacy, data security, and healthcare regulations


Qualifications:

  • Patient-focused, empathetic, and compassionate
  • Strong communicators with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple systems and applications simultaneously
  • 2+ years of recent medical insurance experience required
  • Strong knowledge of the U.S. healthcare and reimbursement industry
  • Experience with benefit verification, insurance coverage, and patient support services
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to multitask across multiple platform
  • Proven ability to learn new processes quickly and work independently
  • Reliable attendance and commitment to meeting performance expectations
