Position: CNC Programmer
Location: Chester, CT
Type: Full-time | On-site
Required Skills:
  • Proficient use of CAM
  • Creation of CNC programs for Turning and Milling Machines 3 & 4 Axis
  • Solid understanding of general machining practices & CNC setup requirements.
  • Working understanding of GD&T.
  • Ability to Analyze blueprints and drawings to determine the best machining process, selection of cutting tools & machine speeds and feeds.
  • Creation of Tooling Control Sheets to document setup & operation.
  • Design effective Tooling and Work Holding for the machining process
  • Support the shop floor in the development & running of First Article.
  • High attention to detail, accustomed to deadlines and accountability
  • Ability to define manufacturing problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to support legacy parts and processes

Preferred Skills (Training provided for qualified applicants):
  • Create & Maintain Process Models and Drawings
  • In-depth knowledge of Mastercam
  • Set up and validate CNC programs with Vericut
  • 5 Axis Programming
  • Knowledge of Siemens 840D, Fanuc and OSP machine controls
  • Ability to provide estimated run time for quotations

Experience:
