Although this position is primarily remote with minimal travel requirements, candidates must reside within the designated market to support occasional client meetings, field coordination activities, and in-person collaboration as needed.


Position Overview:


Telvero is seeking a Senior OSP Design Engineer to support our clientโ€™s fiber design and construction initiatives related to FTTH and broadband infrastructure deployments. This role is responsible for reviewing OSP fiber designs, validating GIS data, and coordinating with engineering and construction teams to support successful project delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform QA/QC reviews of high-level and low-level OSP fiber designs.
  • Validate GIS data and maintain data consistency within Vetro.
  • Support FTTH and PON network deployment activities.
  • Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to resolve design and field issues.
  • Assist with feeder and distribution network design reviews.
  • Participate in MDU site surveys with engineering and construction partners.
  • Research OSP routing, conduit availability, and placement options.
  • Review project workflows and ensure timelines and documentation requirements are met in SiteTracker.
  • Identify cost-effective design and material solutions.


Required Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting FTTH and PON fiber network builds.
  • Experience with Vetro preferred.
  • Must have experience with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
  • Background in fiber engineering or OSP design.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and network diagrams.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SiteTracker.
  • Familiarity with broadband expansion or large-scale fiber construction projects.
