The Vice President will be joining an experienced team that brings decades of fiber broadband, infrastructure and technology experience with a proven track record of building and growing highly successful businesses.

The VP of Operations will be responsible for overseeing FTTH construction, damage prevention and plant maintenance and on-going operations of our fiber network infrastructure. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the in-house and partner construction teams responsible for low-level design, fielding, permitting, inspection, and implementation of the FTTP network infrastructure

  • Develop and implement robust plans to meet the company's aggressive growth goals (passings, footages, market builds, serving areas) for all fiber to the home engineering and construction projects.

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, both large and small-scale, ensuring that all engineering and construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Build and develop high performing teams that exemplify Lyte Fiberโ€™s company culture.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, constantly seeking new ways to optimize the company's fiber network operations and drive growth while lowering the cost per passing.

  • Select and approve OSP construction partners to ensure we have sufficient resources to execute the build plan.

  • Oversee third-party construction crews for performance, safety, quality, cleanup, and repair to ensure the construction activities represent Lyte Fiber in a professional manner and respect the communities we are building to serve.

  • Develop and implement metrics and performance indicators to measure the success of the construction teams to include vendor scorecards and quarterly performance reviews with each vendor partner.

  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members are skilled and knowledgeable to ensure Lyteโ€™s quality standards are met and maintained.

  • Ensure Lyte has accurate records of the fiber plant by ensuring the construction units placed and as-built documentation is properly collected for input into the fiber management system. Utilize the as-built documentation to continually explore methods to improve the low-level design to reduce in field changes to increase construction performance.

  • Work with the Project Management Organization to create and execute project work plans, schedules, and budget controls, as well as identify and onboard the necessary resources for the project(s).

  • Participate and/or provide oversight and approval for decisions on the scope and delivery of the project, including serving as a technical expert in interpreting the specifications of the project.
