About the Role:
GMORAN Construction LLC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Concrete Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team in Houston, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced construction professionals, helping deliver high-quality concrete projects from groundbreaking to completion. Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating concrete construction projects from start to finish
  • Support the Project Manager in managing subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and timelines to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Conduct site visits to oversee concrete pours, formwork, and finishing operations
  • Assist in preparing project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and daily reports
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and building codes
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in concrete construction or commercial construction project management
  • Familiarity with concrete construction methods including flatwork, tilt-wall, foundations, and structural concrete
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is a plus
