The Job at a Glance  

As the Overage Shortage & Damage Specialists, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality and accuracy of our inventory to guarantee that we have the parts our customers need when they need them. Our OSD Specialists work closely with both manufacturers and our internal teams at Parts Town to solve shipping discrepancies. You will also be responsible for maintaining quality control by regulating damaged parts and verifying parts identification. 

A Typical Day  

  • Manage overages, shortages, or damaged shipments in the Fulfillment Center to ensure quality and accuracy of Parts Town’s inventory
  • Update inventory and purchase order information so that it is accurately reflected in internal systems
  • Determine the proper action for all inbound inventory with discrepancies
  • Handle escalated discrepancies in parts identification from Receiving team to verify that the correct parts are placed into inventory

To Land This Opportunity  

  • You are a reliable team-player and want to dedicate your career within Parts Town Fulfillment Center
  • You’re comfortable working on a computer and navigating screens is a must.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft office and Outlook, it’s a bonus!
  • You possess strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • You possess the ability to move around for long periods of time and consistently lift up to 40lbs unassisted
  • You are looking to work Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm and can work Saturdays as needed
  • You have great communication skills & you’re proficient in English (verbal and written) 

About Your Future Team

The salary range for this role is $43,993.80 – $53,720.20 annually ($21.15 – $25.82 hourly) which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
