Job description

Position Overview
OSAAVA Services is seeking an experienced MBSE / SysML Systems Engineer to support Air Force modeling and mission engineering efforts within a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment.
This role focuses on the development, maintenance, and integration of SysML models supporting C2, C3, and C4ISR mission systems within an Air Force modeling ecosystem. The selected candidate will work with engineering teams to build and maintain system models that support architecture development, mission analysis, and system integration.
The position supports modeling activities aligned with Air Force research, development, and acquisition programs, contributing to mission system architecture development and digital engineering initiatives. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain SysML models using Cameo Systems Modeler
• Author and maintain BDD, IBD, Activity, Sequence, and Parametric diagrams
• Support DoDAF / UAF architecture development and modeling activities
• Maintain model repositories, version control, and configuration management
• Support mission thread analysis and operational workflow modeling
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support system architecture and integration efforts
• Ensure modeling activities align with MBSE best practices and Air Force digital engineering initiatives
• Assist with development of system architecture documentation and model artifacts
• Support integration of MBSE outputs into analysis, simulation, and engineering environments Relevant Experience Areas

• Cameo Systems Modeler / MagicDraw modeling environments
• DoDAF / UAF architecture frameworks

• Mission engineering and mission thread analysis
• Digital engineering environments within DoD programs
• System integration and architecture modeling

Qualified candidates may support roles such as:
