An Orthodontic Intern assists licensed orthodontists in providing care to patients who need braces or other dental appliances to correct alignment issues. Their duties typically include taking dental impressions, preparing patients for procedures, sterilizing instruments, and learning about orthodontic treatment planning. Interns gain hands-on experience by observing and sometimes participating in patient care under supervision.
