Description:Position Summary

The Barista is responsible for delivering high-quality coffee and beverage service that enhances the guest experience across Vinarosa Resort’s cafés, restaurants, and lounge venues. This role focuses on the precise preparation and presentation of espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, tea, and specialty drinks while maintaining a warm, welcoming service style. Baristas are expected to demonstrate strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and consistency in execution while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Collaborating closely with culinary, service, and leadership teams, this position supports smooth service flow, cleanliness, and brand standards. Adherence to food safety, sanitation, and quality expectations is essential. The Barista directly contributes to guest satisfaction, repeat visits, and overall outlet performance.


Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to standards

· Demonstrate knowledge of coffee origins, roasts, flavor profiles, and preparation methods

· Maintain proper calibration, cleanliness, and daily care of espresso machines and equipment

· Provide warm, engaging guest service while managing multiple orders efficiently

· Accurately enter orders into the POS system and handle transactions with accuracy and integrity

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, service counters, and guest areas

· Execute opening, closing, and side work duties including stocking, rotation, and mise en place

· Monitor inventory levels and communicate product needs or shortages to leadership

· Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times

· Support service recovery by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally

· Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure timely order delivery and quality standards

· Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards consistent with luxury hotel expectations

Requirements:Required Skills & Qualifications

· Previous hotel, resort, café, or specialty coffee experience preferred

· Knowledge of espresso preparation and coffee service techniques

· Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment


Physical & Scheduling Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and work flexible schedules including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
