Job description
- Direct tissue procurement effort for the Department.
- Develop processes, procedures and a collaborative research program in the field of 3D organoid biology.
- Expand collaborative efforts with the University of Arizona biomedical scientists and physician scientists in the development of organoids relevant to cancer, lung disease, and liver disease.
- Develop human precision cut lung and liver slice model systems.
- Perform tissue histology, staining, and quantification.
- Organize tissue bank collection of FPPE, fresh frozen, and organoid samples.
- Participate in both training of students and technicians.
- Participate as a productive member of the Department and the College through impactful scholarly work and good citizenship.
- Additional duties as assigned.
