Job description

We are seeking a Full-Time Rental Yard Associate

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and courteous way.
  • Ensure rental equipment is properly displayed and organized.
  • Assist customers with rental equipment (pick-up, drop-off).
  • Inspect rental equipment for damage, cleanliness, and operational functionality before and after pick-up and drop-off.
  • Assist in coordinating rental equipment maintenance, repairs, and cleaning as necessary.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer requests simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Basic computer skills for accessing computer software systems to obtain product information.

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience in customer service, rental or retail preferred.
  • Previous experience with construction tools and equipment preferred.
