Job description

The Senior Change Management Specialist is responsible for leading complex, enterprise-wide organizational change initiatives that support strategic business transformation and operational priorities. This role partners closely with executive sponsors, senior leaders, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies that drive employee adoption, stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, and achievement of desired business outcomes.
In addition to leading large-scale change efforts, the Senior Change Manager contributes to the advancement of the organization's overall change management maturity by supporting the development of tools, frameworks, standards, and capability-building initiatives.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead Complex Change Initiatives - 70%
Lead the development and execution of organizational change management strategies and plans for large-scale, complex, and enterprise-level initiatives. Partner with project teams, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders to assess organizational impacts, manage change risks, and drive successful adoption and sustainment of business transformation efforts.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies and plans aligned to business objectives, project goals, organizational priorities, and desired adoption outcomes for large-scale and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Conduct organizational change impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, readiness assessments, and risk evaluations to identify impacts to people, processes, technology, roles, and organizational culture.
  • Develop, implement, and manage integrated change enablement plans, including communication, training, engagement, reinforcement, and resistance management strategies.
  • Collaborate with core change management partners, including HRBPs, Corporate Communications, Learning & Development, and Field Communications & Training teams, to coordinate and execute change enablement activities.
  • Partner closely with project managers, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to embed change management activities into overall project and implementation plans.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage organizational resistance and adoption barriers while documenting lessons learned and recommending continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Define, measure, and track project-level and stakeholder-specific adoption, engagement, readiness, and sustainment metrics to evaluate change effectiveness.
  • Monitor organizational change progress, evaluate the effectiveness of change interventions, and provide regular status reporting, insights, and recommendations to leadership and project stakeholders.

Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement - 20%
Build strong partnerships with project and initiative sponsors, leaders, and business stakeholders to support organizational readiness and leadership alignment during periods of change. Provide guidance that enables leaders and managers to effectively lead teams through transformation and sustain the adoption of new ways of working.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and support to leaders and managers on effectively leading teams through organizational change, including communication, engagement, and reinforcement activities.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships across business areas to strengthen stakeholder alignment, increase engagement, and support the successful implementation of change initiatives.
  • Capture and assess project health, stakeholder sentiment, organizational readiness, adoption trends, and impacted team feedback to support enterprise change portfolio management and decision-making.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, alignment sessions, and leadership discussions to build commitment, address concerns, and drive organizational readiness.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders by providing insights, recommendations, and strategies to improve employee engagement, adoption, and change sustainability.

Support OCM Capability & Maturity Development - 10%
Support the advancement of the organization's change management capability and maturity by contributing to the development of standardized methodologies, tools, templates, and best practices. Share knowledge and lessons learned across the team while supporting onboarding, mentoring, and continuous improvement efforts within the organizational change management function.
  • Contribute to the development, enhancement, and continuous improvement of enterprise change management templates, tools, playbooks, methodologies, and standards.
  • Support implementation and adoption of enterprise engagement models and standardized organizational change management practices across initiatives.
  • Share lessons learned, best practices, and practical insights from change initiatives to improve team effectiveness and organizational change maturity.
  • Mentor team members and provide guidance, knowledge sharing, and support for onboarding and professional development activities within the change management function.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on strengthening organizational change management capability, consistency, scalability, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5-7 years of work-related experience.

Certifications:
  • Change management certification required (e.g., Prosci, ACMP, CCMP, or equivalent).
  • Project management certification or related transformation certifications preferred.

Tools & Reporting:
  • Proficiency in project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Power BI), with the ability to drive data-informed decision-making and leadership reporting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of organizational change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies and plans.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to assess organizational impacts, risks, readiness, and adoption challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
