Job description

The Director, HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a trusted partner/advisor to people leaders, driving organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent management, and compensation planning initiatives. This role requires an experienced HR professional with strong business acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to influence and implement HR strategies that support our company's growth objectives.

This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and leadership skills to ensure our HR functions support the company's overall objectives and foster positive employee experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Sales and Commercial business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and align HR strategies to support business goals.
  • Support non-exempt and exempt employees.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency, including organizational design, change management, employee relations, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with HR team to develop and implement best practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster a high-performance culture that promotes employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations to leaders on workforce trends, talent management strategies, and organizational health.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations and uphold ethical standards in all HR practices.

Skills Needed:

  • Proven track record of partnering with leaders to drive business results through effective HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Experience supporting Sales and Commercial organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of HR best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Experienced with Change Management.
  • Experienced with managing employee relations matters (investigation management).
  • Travel is required for this role.

Educational Requirements & Work Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in HR as an HR business partner/generalist, with at least 3+ years of previous experience supporting Sales and Commercial functions required.

Required travel of up to 25%.

This position has an estimated base salary of $220,000 - $270,000, bonus, and equity. #LI-IB1
