Work you'll do

As an Organization Design Manager, you will play a key role in designing and implementing solutions and frameworks that support client business objectives. Managing multiple workstreams, you will deliver results through project leadership, client engagement, and analytical rigor.

You will:

  • Lead project teams or multiple workstreams in the delivery of Organization Design & Strategy engagements.
  • Drive analysis and design of operating models, evaluating structures to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of job architecture frameworks, including designing the framework, conducting job mapping, and managing the creation of job descriptions.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of compensation strategies-including base pay, bonus programs, and salary structures-by reviewing compensation benchmarking reports.
  • Apply analytical tools and data visualizations to inform design recommendations and assess project impact.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and support stakeholder alignment.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating risks within ongoing engagements.
  • Facilitate client interviews, workshops, and focus groups to gather requirements and share insights.
  • Prepare and present executive summaries, client deliverables, and recommendations.
  • Produce content for marketing and eminence (e.g., whitepapers, articles).
  • Support business development efforts by preparing proposals and drafting Statements of Work.
  • Mentor and coach junior consultants, supporting their development and providing constructive feedback.
  • Engage in practice development initiatives, including culture building and participation in the internal community.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum six (6) years relevant experience in professional consulting or industry role
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in organization design or job architecture
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following areas: operating model design, decision rights management, compensation strategy/design, or workforce transition planning.
  • Minimum three (3) years of project-based experience in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling using Orgvue, Tableau, Power BI, or Excel, to communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to travel, on average, 0-50%, based on project needs and the clients and industries you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree and/or MBA in a related specialization
  • Led and managed teams of 3 - 15 members on multiple organization design, job architecture, or human capital strategy projects, overseeing execution of deliverables and supporting team performance.
  • Mentored at least two junior team members by providing formal feedback, supporting skill development, and contributing to their professional growth plans.
  • Managed 2 - 4 concurrent projects, consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality deliverables under competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated strong client presence by independently managing project timelines, facilitating workshops or presentations, and effectively guiding stakeholder discussions

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,200 to $265,600.
