Job description

Key Account Manager – West Region - California | Oregon | Washington

Own the Territory. Build Relationships. Drive Growth.

Do you see opportunity where others see routine?

Are you the type of salesperson who enjoys building relationships, uncovering untapped potential, and helping dealers grow their business? Do you thrive on competition, autonomy, and being rewarded for delivering results?

If so, Blue Diamond Attachments has an opportunity for you

We're looking for a high-performing Key Account Manager to develop and grow strategic dealer relationships throughout California, Oregon, and Washington. This isn't an account maintenance role—it's an opportunity to own a territory, grow market share, strengthen dealer partnerships, and become the trusted advisor our customers rely on.

What You'll Do - You'll be responsible for driving profitable growth throughout your territory by:

  • Growing sales within existing key dealer accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Building executive-level relationships with dealership owners, sales managers, and leadership teams.
  • Conducting business reviews that identify opportunities to increase attachment sales and dealer profitability.
  • Training dealer sales teams on Blue Diamond products, applications, and selling strategies.
  • Collaborating with Inside Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Support to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Representing Blue Diamond at dealer meetings, trade shows, customer events, and industry functions.
  • Analyzing territory performance and developing action plans to exceed sales objectives.
  • Traveling throughout the West Region to strengthen relationships and expand market presence.

What Makes You Successful - You're someone who:

  • Naturally builds relationships and earns trust.
  • Enjoys competing—and winning.
  • Thinks strategically while executing with urgency.
  • Is comfortable making decisions and owning results.
  • Loves solving customer problems.
  • Has the confidence to challenge the status quo when it benefits the customer.
  • Is self-motivated and performs with minimal supervision.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

  • 3 - 5 years of successful B2B sales, territory management, or key account management experience.
  • Proven success growing revenue, expanding customer relationships, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Experience selling through dealer distribution channels in construction equipment, agricultural equipment, compact equipment, attachments, rental equipment, or other heavy equipment industries.
  • Strong CRM discipline (Salesforce experience preferred).
  • Excellent business planning, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory (typically 3–4 nights per week).

Why Blue Diamond?

Blue Diamond Attachments is one of North America's leading manufacturers of skid steer, compact tractor, and construction equipment attachments. Our reputation is built on innovation, quality, and a relentless commitment to our dealers' success. When you join Blue Diamond, you'll enjoy:

  • The freedom to manage your business like it's your own.
  • Industry-leading products that dealers are proud to represent.
  • Competitive compensation with target earnings of $100,000–$150,000+ annually, including uncapped incentive opportunities.
  • Monthly profit-sharing bonuses because everyone contributes to our success.
  • Company-provided vehicle, laptop, phone, and technology tools.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.
  • A collaborative, high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Opportunities for professional growth with an expanding organization.

This Role Is Ideal For Someone Who...

  • Wants to own a territory instead of simply covering one.
  • Gets energized by opening doors and creating new opportunities.
  • Enjoys influencing business decisions with dealership leadership.
  • Prefers spending time with customers instead of sitting behind a desk.
  • Takes pride in delivering measurable results.
  • Wants to make a significant impact while building a long-term career.

Ready to Build Something Bigger?

If you're driven to grow business, strengthen partnerships, and represent an industry-leading product line, we'd like to hear from you.

Apply today and build something exceptional with Blue Diamond Attachments.
