Job description

This position is a Full-Time position at Standale Home Studio

Standale Home Studio is a 73-year legacy company focusing on flooring, cabinetry, countertops, and other interior finishes. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work in West Michigan, and the culture we keep for our team. The person that best fits this role, is a self-starter and works well autonomously.

PURPOSE

Responsible for performing a variety of general administrative and office operations support activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary function of this role is ordering tile material for our flooring sales team. 
  • Support in ordering, receiving, and other office administrative needs for the Studio.
  • Works closely with vendor partners on material lead times & costs.
  • Works closely with installation management team to ensure successful projects as it relates to material ordering. 
  • Performs data entry/retrieval functions.
  • May perform office supply inventory and replenishment services.
  • Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and one (1) year administrative or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
