Position Overview 

We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support in a fast-paced, complex retail environment specializing in high-end fabrics and furniture. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent follow-through, and the capacity to manage concurrent projects while maintaining positive vendor and internal relationships.

Hours Onsite: Tuesday- Saturday 9-5:30

Key Responsibilities 

- Provide administrative support, including managing email, phone calls, paperwork, filing, and deadline tracking. 

- Relieve management of routine administrative tasks such as document preparation, follow-up, purchasing paperwork, and distribution of important materials. 

- Manage multiple concurrent projects and assignments with strong prioritization and attention to detail. 

- Interact with vendors to monitor, process, and track orders for high-end fabrics. 

- Handle order processing, receiving, and labeling of new inventory. 

- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with vendors and co -workers

- Uphold a reputation for credibility and responsiveness by promptly returning calls and emails from vendors and customers, and ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding issues. 

Qualifications

Qualifications 

- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred. 

- Minimum of 4 years of administrative or clerical experience. 

- Proven reliability with consistent work hours and schedule availability. 

- Strong time-management, organizational, multitasking, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills. 

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). 

- Professional demeanor and polished personal presentation. 

- Ability to take on new responsibilities, work effectively under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. 

- Strong follow-through and highly organized work style. 

- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to accept constructive feedback and follow management direction. 

- Patience and flexibility to revise work through multiple rounds of edits. 

- Experience in furniture, fabric, or related retail industries is a plus.
