 Position Summary:
The Supply Order Coordinator is an integral part of our Supply Chain team responsible for sourcing
materials for our customer order process. This person will work with our sales, operations, and
transportation teams to provide analytics and support through the order lifecycle and sales process.
The position will be located in our corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Liaise between the plants and sales staff regarding orders and inventory.
Search database and compute inventory levels to source necessary lumber for customer orders.
Manager inventory levels, stocking levels, and aged inventory.
Communicate with procurement team to source products, fulfill orders, and manage inventory
production.
Monitor status of orders to make sure they are processed and delivered in a timely manner.
Communicate with sales and production teams regarding customer orders.
Ensure product arrives in a timely, safe manner while making the process appear seamless to the
customer.
Cross-training will be required with other departments as needed.
Support the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors or Associates degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics and/or 1-2 years of relevant
supply order coordination experience preferred.
Five years of Supply Chain and Logistics experience in lieu of a college degree is acceptable.
Ability to use MS Office suite and trainable on Supply Chain, Supply & Inventory software & Sales
software.
