In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing customer orders, managing inventory movements, and ensuring timely fulfillment to support efficient warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and experience in order picking, packing, and shipping procedures. Responsibilities

  • Receive and review incoming customer orders via warehouse management system (WMS) and RF scanners to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Pick items from inventory using order picker equipment such as reach trucks and pallet jacks, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Pack products securely using appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
  • Prepare orders for shipment by labeling, staging, and coordinating with shipping carriers for pick-up or delivery.
  • Manage stock levels by stocking shelves efficiently and updating inventory records in the WMS.
  • Load and unload shipments utilizing forklifts and reach trucks while following safety procedures.
  • Assist with shipping & receiving activities, including verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Utilize basic math skills to calculate quantities, weights, and measurements for order accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records of order processing activities within the warehouse system (e.g., AS400 or MRP systems).
  • Support inventory audits by conducting cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve workflow efficiency.

Experience

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred.
