Reports To: ย  ย  Supervisor


PURPOSE OF POSITION (Statement of Job)ย To fill customer specific orders-100% accurately and provisionally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. ย To pick up an assignment.
2. ย To sign on to the OLEC (voice pick) System.

3.ย  Responsible for picking the order accurately.
4. ย Determine whether the order goes to the packaging or dock area.
5. ย Responsible for proper stacking of orders.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESย 
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONSย  ย

To perform this job successfully, an individualย MUSTย be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check and be able perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEย 
High school diploma OR general education degree (GED) required; one to three months related experience and/or training preferred

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. ย Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. ย Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

REASONING ABILITYย 
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Forklift Driver Certification not required upon initial hire, but must be obtained after employment is offered

The employee must maintain a clean and safe work area using all safety equipment, safety glasses with side shields, steel-toed safety shoes, guards, report all safety violations, and report any accidents, injuries immediately Employees must perform all job functions in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to all safety rules and instructions.
