The Role

The Shipping Order Completion Assistant is responsible for picking, packing, and loading customer orders in a fast-paced production environment.

What You'll Do

  • Pick, pack, and load products in a busy production area.
  • Transfer finished products and boxes from the shipping sorter to delivery trucks.
  • Scan labels, load packaging machines, and label products accordingly.
  • Check out and return your scanner at the start and end of each shift.
  • Follow all departmental SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Spot-check packages emerging from machinery for correct labeling.
  • Operate required equipment safely and effectively.
  • Apply knowledge of processes, production methods, and product handling to daily operations.
  • Assist with shutdown procedures.
  • Work safely around FDA-approved cleaning chemicals, loud noises, and flashing lights.
  • Work in cold environments (-10F freezer, 32-40F refrigerated areas).
  • Use tools such as box cutters and pump pallet jacks.
  • Work in other production areas as needed.

What You'll Bring

  • Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts.
  • Flexibility to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
  • Willingness to work overnight or early-morning schedules.
  • Ability to stand for most of the shift.
  • Ability to twist, turn, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must wear non-slip resistant shoes.
  • Ability to apply operational knowledge to daily tasks.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
