The role is based in our Avondale, Arizona Distribution Center.

Overview

Avondale, AZ Warehouse Associate for our Shipping Department - Weekend Shift - Friday, Saturday & Sunday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm

Pay $16.75 ($15.00 plus $1.75 Shift Differentialpay)

Qualifications

This position, which may vary depending on specific job assignment, performs tasks associated with the receipt, storage, process and shipment of product utilizing Material Handling Equipment (i.e., Reach Truck, Order Picker, etc.) while meeting safety, quality, productivity, attendance and behavioral Vitamin Shoppe expectations. Effectively and efficiently uses established procedures, tools, equipment (including RF Scanners), and technologies to complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes within the Distribution Center.

  • Loading Trailers
  • Palletizing and case sorting to proper stores/or routes.
  • Wrapping pallets using proper tools.
  • Properly assists Coordinator with closing daily shipments.
  • Handling damaged goods following SOP set procedures.
  • Must be able to handle up to 50lbs. On average, cases can weigh up to 30 to 35lbs.
  • Resets Shipping sorter timely when jams occur to prevent downtime.
  • Must be able to be on your feet for 10hrs/12hrs shifts.
  • Performs necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment
  • InformsManager or Lead of any problems and actively participates in process improvements

Other Functions:

  • Assist in other areas of the Distribution Center as assigned

  • Able to meet safety, quality, productivity and attendance requirements
