Job description

As a Sr IT Analyst, you are part of a cross-functional deployment & run team with the responsibility to deploy the designed "Global Template" which will enable Building Automation (BA) to move from current business processes and operating systems to common business processes, enabled by SAP. The role also includes supporting SAP live sites through troubleshooting, training, and SAP system enhancements.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in IT related field or business administration.
Minimum 5 years of experience with functional implementation and support of ERP systems (preferably SAP) supporting business processes.
Program management skills including time management, organizational, and multi-tasking.
Ability to work in a matrix environment and manage requests from multiple sites and local teams.
Can operate effectively in a multi-cultural, global environment working with multiple business layers.
Ability to work collaboratively with IT staff through the design and build of the new business processes.
Ability to drive down into the detail of application use and get "hands on" with the system.
Ability to travel approximately 25% to support project work.

Teaming and interfacing with the BA IT and business teams as it pertains to all aspects of the Order Management function. This includes understanding the site business requirements and performing gap analysis, assisting with the redesign of processes, and testing to ensure conversion to SAP is successful.
Working with BA Order Management / Customer Experience leadership team regarding SAP capability, process & ERP changes, and SAP enhancement requests for building products manufacturing, products installation, and aftermarket services.
Completing key deliverables as assigned such as functional site discovery and scoping documentation, business test scenarios, customer related data migration, and training users as outlined in the SAP deployment methodology.
Responsible for working with SAP superusers to improve their system understanding and roll-out of new SAP related enhancements and initiatives.

SAP Deployments & Transitions:
Capture, assess, and prioritize key business requirement gaps from sites in specified region.
Drive best business process across BA.
Champion change management activities.
Learn the Honeywell SAP system and ensure that knowledge is effectively transferred to other users.
Ensure users can operate business effectively using SAP after deployment or transition.
Ensure Global Design Model is applied consistently across specified region.
Manage relationship and communication with BA Order Management leadership team.
Work to resolve any complex issue being experienced by the business.

Live Sites:
Help with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of day-to-day issues faced by the business.
Involvement in scoping and requirements gathering for Rapid Development and Enhancement requests.
Assist the business with testing of SAP enhancements prior to implementation.
Promote standardization of IT systems and best practice process adoption where possible.


Projects involving IT function
Be IT representative for global projects requiring IT functional representation.
Drive communication and collaboration between IT and other business functions to enable smooth transition, coordinating changes to process, inputs/outputs and data.
Responsible for scoping, testing & implementation of the IT OM plan as part of the larger global project.
