Job Description:

The Inside Account Associate (LAC) for our CCA (Caribbean Central America) Organization achieves revenue and gross profit dollar targets by managing their customer base from an inside sales standpoint.

Develops profitable customer relationships through efficient order management and effective handling of customer requests.

Completes timely requests for information on bids, quotes, technical information and positioning of TD SYNNEX programs and services.

What You'll Do:
  • Responsible for full order management, including placing orders, following up to ensure all holds are released, and providing tracking information to customers upon shipping (25%)

  • Proactively contacts and develops a specified account base, and prospects for new business opportunities to achieve growth and profit targets. (25%)

  • Effectively manages customer experience by responding to all quotes, bids and orders through multiple modes of communication (phone, email, instant messenger, fax) (10%)

  • Proactively discusses TD SYNNEX's value added services including; TD SYNNEX Reserve Program, Configuration Services, and others as required (10%)

  • Utilizes experience to effectively negotiate TD gross margin through up-selling and cross selling opportunities. (5%)

  • Develops and enhances relationships with all TD SYNNEX departments, and vendor field representatives to act as a liaise on behalf of the customer (5%)

  • Accumulates competitive, market and pricing information and provide feedback to the relevant parties. (5%)

  • Attends all mandatory vendor training, lunch and learns and seminars. (5%)

  • Backs up other sales teams when coverage is needed (5%)

  • Provides team leadership by being a subject matter expert. (5%)

What We're Looking For:
  • High School Diploma Required.

  • College's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

  • 1+ Years of relevant work experience.

  • Proficient in English (level B2 or higher) required.

  • Assist in managing collections if necessary.

  • Knowledge of Windows, Office Suite applications, CRM tools.

  • Provide End-to-end order management & logistics coordination (order entry, hold resolution, shipment tracking and customer updates)

  • Account management & new business development (proactive outreach and prospecting to achieve growth and profit targets)

  • Able to multichannel customer communication & service excellence (timely handling of quotes, bids, and orders via phone, email, IM, fax)

  • Sales negotiation, upselling & cross-selling for gross margin expansion

  • Provide cross-functional and vendor relationship management (liaison with TD SYNNEX teams and vendor field reps; provides backup coverage)

  • Comprehensive Order and Logistics Management: Experience entering orders and tracking shipments.

  • Proficiency in Sales Management Tools: Such as ERP, CRM, or CIS.

  • Account Prospecting and Development: Experience in proactively contacting clients, identifying business opportunities, and following up on quotes/bids.

  • Upselling and Cross-selling Strategies: Proven ability to identify incremental and cross-selling opportunities to optimize gross margins.

  • Interdepartmental and Manufacturer Coordination: Experience in coordinating between internal areas (Finance, Credit, Operations) and vendors.

  • Attention to Detail and Accuracy: Ability to handle numerical data, product codes, and quotes without errors.

  • Time Management and Working Under Pressure: Ability to respond promptly to peak demand and meet SLAs (response times).

  • Multichannel Communication: Fluency and professionalism in interacting via email, telephone, and instant messaging. Conflict Resolution and Negotiation: Focus on productive "win-win" solutions to objections or problems in the service.

Other Education/Certifications:
  • 3+ years' commercial experience desired.

  • Degree in Sales or Marketing desired.

  • Knowledge of Software/Hardware/Networking products desired.
