Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) Independent Contractor (1099)

Are you an experienced infusion, ICU, ER, oncology, or critical care nurse looking for a flexible opportunity that allows you to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives?
Orbit Infusion Solutions is a nurse-led infusion services company dedicated to delivering safe, compassionate, and clinically excellent infusion therapy in the comfort of patients' homes.
Unlike large staffing platforms, we believe in building lasting relationships with both our nurses and patients. Our team partners with specialty pharmacies, physicians, and healthcare organizations to provide high-quality specialty infusion services throughout California.
As an Independent Contractor RN, you'll have the freedom to choose the cases that fit your schedule while providing one-on-one care to medically complex patients who truly value your expertise.
What You'll Do
  • Administer specialty infusion therapies in patients' homes and infusion suites
  • Start and maintain peripheral IV access
  • Assess patients before, during, and after infusion therapy
  • Monitor for adverse reactions and intervene appropriately
  • Provide patient and caregiver education
  • Complete accurate clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with specialty pharmacies, physicians, and care teams
  • Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care
Qualifications

Required:
  • Active RN license (State or Compact)
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Professional Liability Insurance
  • Minimum 3-5 years of nursing experience
