Orangetheory Fitness (OTF) is a hot group personal training concept that is spreading like wildfire across the globe. This intense interval-based cardio and strength training program, backed by the science of target zone heart-rate monitoring, has been featured in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal and is touted as the 'best one hour workout in the country,' whereby participants of all different ability levels burn up to 500 to 1000 calories in a 60 minute session. This workout helps build strength, increase energy, surpass workout plateaus, and tone and shape your body like nothing else.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Must hold a current fitness certification from an OTF approved education company such as ACE (American Council on Exercise), NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America), NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association), NCSF (National Council on Strength & Fitness), & ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine)
  • Must have current CPR/AED certification.
  • Must have 1+ years of professional experience teaching groups and/or personal training in the fitness industry.
  • Must have intermediate level knowledge of physiology, exercise technique and body mechanics
  • Must be flexible and willing to work weekends when needed and as requested by your Studio Manager and/or Head Coach.
Experience:
  • Personal trainer/group fitness instructor: 1 year (Required)
Responsibilities:

  • The OTF Group Fitness Instructor is a certified personal trainer and will lead up to 45 participants through OTF-specific group training
  • Responsible for creating positive, high energy, OTF training sessions.
  • Responsible for building OTF attendance and retaining current clientele.
  • Attend monthly fitness staff meetings
